1. iEasy Highlights

iEasy is an add-on component for Internet Explorer (IE). iEasy makes it much easier for users to access web sites and view web pages. iEasy is not like other IE add-ons that install toolbars for operation. Because toolbars occupy valuable spaces of the browser window. iEasy shows its commands in context menus when you right-click mouse on a browser window. iEasy extends the web browser in aspects of login account management, web page content manipulation and text speech.

1.1 Login account management

Save login data
Many web sites require registration and login in order to access them. You have to remember your login accounts and passwords for so many different web sites. Although the IE AutoComplete records form data and passwords, it does not match a login name to its web site address. You still need remember each exact login name for every web site that requires registration.

iEasy provides you a convenient and safe way to login your favorite web sties without remembering login names and passwords. Once your login information for a web site is saved by iEasy, it can automatically login to that web site next time. iEasy saves your login account and password for each web site in its encrypted data file. Only your account on the same computer can read the encrypted data. If you want to transfer the saved login names and passwords to another computer, iEasy provides you functions to export and import your important login data.
Fill login form

iEasy will automatically login to a web site if you select the menu command Go Registered Sites. It shows a list of registered web sites of which login names and passwords are saved in iEasy. If you directly access a web site of which login name and password are already saved by iEasy, you can select the Fill Login Info command of iEasy to fill the login fields by iEasy. You can delete a saved login, type a correct password and save them again by select iEasy command Save Login Info.

1.2 Web page content manipulation

Form data save and refill

Some web pages want users to type and select a lot of form fields in order to complete a search or registration. If the result fails, you have to retype everything again. iEasy allows you to save a form's content and refill it as you access the web page again.

Show content
A lot of web pages show text contents in very small font, with dark background, in long text lines beyond browser's width, etc. Those improper appearances make you hard to read them. iEasy can show those contents in normal font size without background color and wrap long text lines inside the browser's window.
Save content
Some web sites publish very long articles. If you want to save a long article in a web page to a file for reading by a PDA later, you have to push and hold your mouse button and move down the page line by line until you select all of the article. Then you have to copy the selected text to an editor software such as MS Word or Notepad and save the content to a file.
iEasy lets you just right-click the article, select a save command and specify the file name. The whole article will be very easily saved to a text file in Unicode or ANSI code.
Print content
Most of web pages show contents with a lot of banner ads, web buttons, animated gifs, logos, image ads and other web graphics. If you want to print some interesting content to paper, those undesired content will not only waste your expensive ink and papers, but also make it hard to read. Some improperly formatted web pages make your printer only print out the left part of each line and cut the right part invisible.

iEasy allows you print out the desired content only without line cutting.
Speak content
This iEasy feature reads the text content aloud for you, if you want to listen some web articles instead of reading them.
If your computer does not have the speech function, you can download the Speech SDK and Language Pack from the Microsoft website. Download SpeechSDK51.exe and SpeechSDK51LangPack.exe from the page and install them on your computer.

2. iEasy Registration

After you receive your registration code, you can register this software product by the following steps.

1) Start the Internet Explorer program on your computer.
2) Right click on the Internet Explorer screen.
3) Select iEasy -> About iEasy. A dialog box will be showed.
4) Click the Register button and type your user name and registration code.

3. iEasy Commands

iEasy commands are showed in a submenu of the pop-up context menu. When you start Internet Explore to browse a web page, click your right mouse button on the page. The pop-up context menu will be showed. Move your mouse to iEasy menu item, the submenu items of iEasy will be showed.

Fill Login Data

When a login web page is showed, the menu item will be enabled if the login data for this page has been saved. Click this menu item, the account name and password will be filled in the login fields.

Save Login Data

After account name and password are typed in a login web page, the menu item will be enabled. Click this menu item, the account name and password will be saved for this login web page.
If a login page's account name and password have not been saved before, iEasy will ask whether you want to save the login data after you click the page's login button.

Delete Login Data

If some web site's login data is incorrect or no longer needed, click this menu item to delete it.
Go Registered Sites

This command shows a dialog with all registered web sites whose login name and password have been saved in iEasy database. If you select a domain name in the dialog list box and click the Login button, iEasy will show the login web page and login to the web site automatically.

Save Text in Table

This command saves the text content included in an HTML table (TABLE element) to a file. If you want to save an article but the article’s title is showed in another table item, you can move the cursor to an item that is a table item (TD element) and its table includes both the title and the content, right click on the item and select the command. The whole text in a HTML table will be saved into a text file.
Save Text of Item

This command saves the text content of the current HTML item (its content is included by HTML tags), which is the article you are interested in, to a file. You move the mouse cursor on the item and right click your mouse button. A dialog box will be showed to let you specify the file name. The dialog box also provides you options to create a new file, overwrite an existing file or append to an existing file. If you check the option of Show saved text, the saved file will be opened by Notepad. You can update the saved text file from the showed result.
Show This Item

This command shows a particular content on the current web page as a whole page. In some web pages, the content in which you are interested is embedded in a narrow table column. It makes you hard to read the content. This command shows the content as a whole page to make you much easier view it.
In other cases, the content in which you are interested is showed in a very wide table column. If you want to print out this content, your printer may cut some lines unprinted. After the content is showed in a whole page, it should be able to print the content entirely on paper.
Show Items in Table

This command shows a particular HTML table as a whole page without specific page style. In some cases, an article is embedded in a table column and its title is showed in another table item. You can use this command to show only the article and its title in a whole page in order to make them easy to read.
Print Content of Item

This command prints out only the specified content on the current web page to printer paper. It saves printer paper and makes the content clear.
Speak Text of Item

This command reads the specified text on a web page for you to listen while you are doing something or resting your eyes.
Speak Text of Page

This command reads a whole web page for you to listen the text in the page while you are doing something or resting your eyes.
Options

This command lets you change some behavior of iEasy and run other commands such as Import Login Data, Export Login Data and Input Login Data.

When you save some web page's text to a file by iEasy, it appends the page's URL to the end of the file by default. If you don't want URLs to be appended to saved files, you can uncheck [Append URL to saved content] on the Options dialog.

If you want to display another web page in a different browser window when you click a hyper link on a web page, you can check [Open a new window when a link is clicked] on the Options dialog. iEasy will opens a new window when a link is clicked.

If you opened too many browser windows and want to close them quickly, check [Close window when double clicked on a blank area] lets you close a browser window or tab of IE7 by double clicking mouse only.

iEasy will ask you whether you want to save login data if a login web page's login name and password has not been saved after you click a submit button. You can disable this feature by uncheck [Ask to save login information if it is not saved].

By specifying a folder path in [Default folder to save text files], when you save a web page's text to a file via iEasy, the file will be created in the default folder if you do not specify a full path.

The option [Maximum number of links for multiple links commands] lets you specify how many links can be automatically displayed or printed when run the commands such as Show Other Links.
Show Other Links

Some web sites separate a web article into multiple web pages. You have to click page links one by one in order to read the whole article. This command lets you only click once to show all related pages. Right click mouse on a web link and choose iEasy -> Show Other Links, iEasy will opens all related links in multiple windows.
Save Text of Links

This command can save all text of an article, which is separated into multiple web pages, into a text file by one click.

Input Login Data

If you have already registered in web sites before iEasy is installed, you can save your login account names and passwords into iEasy database in order to automatically login to those web sites via iEasy.
In order to run this command, use IE to open any web page with login fields. Right click a login field in the web page and select the popup menu item Input Login Data of iEasy. Click the menu item. The Input Login Information screen will be showed. Type each domain name, login name and password in the screen and push Add Login button.
You can also run this command by select the Options menu item of iEasy. Click the button of Input Login Data on the iEasy options screen. The Input Login Information screen will be showed.
Import Login Data

From iEasy options dialog, you can run the command of Import Login Data by push the button on the Options dialog. This command will let you specify an exported database file name and import your login data from the exported database to the current iEasy database login.dat that is saved in the iEasy installation folder. The exported database is not encrypted. The current database or imported database is encrypted.
Export Login Data

From iEasy options dialog, you can run the command of Export Login Data by push the button on the dialog. This command will export your current login data in login.dat that is saved in the iEasy installation folder to an exported database that is not encrypted, in order to transfer or backup your login information.
Save Form Data

When you right click mouse on a form input field in web page with a form, you can save all fields data you typed in the form to iEasy database. Later you access the web page again, the saved data can be automatically filled by Fill Form Data command.
Fill Form Data

If you have saved a web page form's data by Save Form Data command before, next time when you access the web page again, you can right click mouse button on an input field and select iEasy menu item of Fill Form Data, the saved fields will be refilled without typing again.

Save Text of Selection

This command saves the text of selected content in an HTML page to a file. If you want to save some part of text in a web page, push down mouse and drag mouse to select the content. Then right click mouse on the selected area and choose iEasy -> Save Text of Selection. You can save it to a file easily.
